We met each other the first time in the improvisation class of the Music School Pinneberg. After losing sight of each other for a few years we ran across again 1999 in the hospital of Pinneberg where we did social work instead of military service.

John recognized many possibilities of sampling crazy sounds in the blood bank of the hospital. In spring 2000 he created a piece of music with these sounds. It is called "Blutbank". He had the idea, that some talented musicians could remix this track. Timo was one of them and we were aware of the chance of productive team work. Unfortunately we put this great idea into cold storage. But at the beginning of 2003, the fate set the course: Our girlfriends broke up roughly at the same time and we revived the idea of working together. This was the beginning of "No Hay Banda"...
